Terms of Service
Last updated July 8, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Mehmet Ali Kısacık, an individual based in Istanbul, Turkey who operates Secure Folder: Incogni Vault, an app for iOS. By using Secure Folder, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
The service
Secure Folder is a private vault app. It lets you import photos, videos, notes, and files into protected storage on your device, lock them behind a PIN or Face ID / Touch ID, and use privacy features such as a decoy vault, intruder alerts, and alternative app icons. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the product develops.
Use of the app is also subject to Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement (Apple EULA).
Your content
Everything you put in the vault stays yours and stays on your device. We never receive it, so we claim no rights over it. You are responsible for the content you store: it must be lawful for you to possess, and you may not use the app to store or conceal material that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
Your PIN — and losing it
Your vault is protected by a PIN you choose, stored only on your device. There is no account and no server-side reset. If you forget your PIN and have no biometric unlock enabled, or you delete the app, your vault contents may be permanently unrecoverable. We cannot restore them, because we never had them.
Subscriptions and purchases
The core app is free. Some features — such as unlimited imports, intruder alerts, and widgets — require Incogni Pro, available as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple ID settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies; we cannot issue them directly.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or tamper with the app, and don't use it to break the law. The intruder alert feature captures a photo of whoever enters a wrong PIN on your device; you are responsible for using that feature lawfully where you live.
What the app is not
Secure Folder makes your private content much harder to reach, but no software can guarantee absolute security. The app is not a substitute for device-level security: keep your iPhone's passcode on, keep iOS updated, and keep backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mehmet Ali Kısacık is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data or content, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, and disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul, Turkey, unless the consumer protection rules of your country of residence provide otherwise.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means the updated terms apply.
